This book can be said to be an extraordinary book by Andrea Hirata a famous author. The remarkable thing we can see from the delivery of the story line and style are also very well written. The style of language is capable of packaged very well from the beginning to the end of the story. If the terms of the intrinsic elements of the novel practically without any gaps. The language used in this book is very interesting, with flavored richness of language and imagination are very broad. Andrea Hirata S1 is a graduate of Economics, University of Indonesia. After completing his studies at the UI S1, the man who is still working at the headquarters of PT Telkom has received a scholarship to study the European Union Master of Science at the Université de Paris, Sorbonne, France, and Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom.
Andrea thesis in the field of telecommunications economics received awards from both the university and he graduated cum laude. The thesis has been adapted into Indonesian and is the first telecommunication economic theory books written by people of Indonesia. The book has been circulated as a scientific reference.
In 1997, Andrea Hirata officially become employees of PT Telkom. His intention to write his devotion inspiratornya back upset when he volunteered for the tsunami victims in Aceh. When he saw the home, school, and various buildings that collapsed, its memory of his childhood and of course, Mrs. Mus solidify his struggle to write his beloved teacher in a literary work. Later, Andrea Hirata's novel Rainbow Warriors managed to create in just three weeks.
His name is increasingly skyrocketed over the success of his first novel, Laskar Pelangi. The novel later became a best seller. Laskar Pelangi addition, he also wrote THE DREAMERS and Edensor, and Maryamah Karpov. The fourth novel in the tetralogy incorporated.
Although Andrea Hirata's actually not intend to publish a novel or send it to the publisher, Warriors of the rainbow remained until the publisher. So many awards received by Andrea Hirata. Some of these include awards from the Equator literaly Award (KLA) in 2007, Aisyiyah Award, Paramadina Award, NETPAC Critics Award, and others.
Success with tetralogy novel, Andrea explore the world of the film. First novel, was made into a movie, with the same title, Laskar Pelangi in 2008 By cooperating with director Riri Riza and Mira Lesmana as a producer, this film became the most phenomenal films in 2008 and towards the end of 2009, Andrea with Miles films and Mizan Productions re-released sequel, THE DREAMERS.

digunakan dalam buku ini pun sangat menarik, dengan dibumbui ragam kekayaan
bahasa dan imajinasi yang sangat luas. Novel ini menunjukkan kekayaan bahasa
sekaligus juga keteraturan berbahasa Indonesia. Dimulai dari istilah- istilah
yang saintifik, humor metaforis, hingga dialek dan sastra melayu bertebaran di
sepanjang halaman buku novel ini. Mulanya, cerita ini lebih bernuansa komikal
dengan latar kenakalan remaja . Canda tawa khas siswa SMA sangat kental dalam
novel ini. Namun jika lebih dalam menjelajahi setiap makna kata akan terasa
betapa kuat karakter yang muncul di tiap-tiap tokohnya. Terlebih ketika Andrea
